WHY PURCHASE YOUR TITANIUM RING FROM BANANA RAINBOW?
Our customers buy Titanium rings for many different reasons. Weddings, birthdays, engagements, commitment ceremonies, anniversaries, civil partnerships, commemorations and simply as a gift, 'thank you' or to mark a special event. But we dont just offer Titanium rings. We have beautiful Titanium with 'conflict free' diamonds, striking black zirconium, colourful anodised zirconium and titanium inlaid with gold, platinum and now palladium. These high quality, premium jewellery rings are craftsman made in the UK to strict quality quidelines and we are delighted to be able to offer an unparalleled service along with great prices. We are also pleased to have been able to help customers who have previously arranged a Titanium ring order from another supplier and have been let down for some reason. Our titanium rings arrive on or before we say they will and have always been the correct fit and style. They are usually cheaper than other suppliers (even on famous auction sites) and we deliver for free in the UK. Along with our great prices, we often have discounts available of up o 10% on listed prices. If you are after a special peice of cutting edge designer jewellery for a special occasion, we make sure that the service, price and product are special too.
COMFORT FIT AS STANDARD
Each ring is made specially for you with a 'comfort fit' as standard. This means that the inside of the ring is rounded as opposed to being straight. The term may be little known but the style is not as it can often be seen on traditional wedding rings and described as a 'court fit'. Having a comfort fit really helps with making sure you will have an item of jewellery that fits securely but comfortably so that you can treasure it for a lifetime.
GETTING THE RIGHT SIZE
Ordering rings like ours can be a little daunting we know but we will always work hard to make sure that you get the ring you want, at a great price, in good time for special events, and that your ring will be a comfortable fit. Most of the options for customising your ring are shown against each style. Standard sizes are usually (UK Size) J to Z but if you want something bigger then just ask us and we can usually help. Probably the biggest UK size we could do is Z+18 with the smallest being A, but if that's what you want then that's what we can do! Please note that if a larger than 'standard' size is needed, if your ring includes precious metals like gold, platinum and palladium, then extra charges may be applied, but we will offer a quotation free of charge before you place your order with us. All we ask is that you are confident as to the size you want to order. These rings are craftsmen (and women) made to your order and if there are engravings inside and outside of the ring, we both need to be sure about the size. Probably the best way of doing this is to visit a local professional jeweller and ask for a 'wedding ring' measurement to be taken. Most Jewellers will do this free of charge, although unless you are buying something from them, it is a good idea to 'ask nicely'. If possible, ask to see the actual measurement the Jeweller takes so that you can provide us with the letter size (A to Z+) and a size in millimetres. If you are ordering from outside of the UK or are only aware of a European, US or other measurement then don't worry as our Jeweller will be able to convert any measurement to a working UK standard size. We can also work to UK 'Half Sizes', so is a size like N 1/2 is required, just let us know when you order that you need a Uk Half Size. It is also a good idea to have your finger measurement taken on two different days and at two different Jewellers, just to allow for the natural size variations to our fingers on a daily basis.
FINISH OPTIONS
Some styles of titanium ring can have several different 'finish' options. You can choose from a satin finish, polished which gives a high gloss almost mirror effect, satin brush - which gives a shimmery effect, and heavy wire brush - which is a course finish but ideal for situations where the ring could be exposed to heavy wear conditions.
DIAMONDS
Although our other rings use cubic zirconia and swarovski crystal, there really is no beating a genuine diamond and they really do have to be seen to be fully appreciated. All of the diamonds used in our collections are guaranteed to be 'conflict free'. Our Jeweller provides the following statement: "The diamonds herein invoiced have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.”
Clear diamonds are usually used on our 'diamond' styles but if you fancy something with a bit of colour, we can offer these treated diamonds:

The image above lists the coloured diamonds that we can supply set in our Titanium rings. With the exception of black, please allow between 4 and 6 weeks for your ring if you choose to have coloured diamonds. Please note that the exact true colour of the diamonds may vary slightly to the image shown on your computer.
CARE OF YOUR BLACK ZIRCONIUM RING
The natural colour of Zirconium is very similar to Titanium, but, when it is heat treated, it forms a black ceramic-like oxide layer called Zirconia. The oxide layer is very hard and scratch resistant but not indestructable, in time scratches will appear on the surface. It isn't impossible to refinish a Black Zirconium ring but, in reality, it is not economically viable and in most cases is cheaper to make a new ring. Because the surface is so hard, what can appear to be a scratch is sometimes a deposit of another material that the ring has rubbed against eg. when worn next to a gold or silver ring. This can be removed quite easily. Care should be taken when wearing a Black Zirconium ring and situations that could scratch the ring should be avoided to get the maximum life out of the surface.
ANODISED ZIRCONIUM
The different colours (apart from black) on our Zirconium rings are achieved by electro anodising, whereby the ring is immersed in a bath of ammonium sulphide and an electric current passed through the ring. No actual colour is applied to the ring, what actually happens is the current has the effect of thickening the oxide layer of the metal. As light passes through the layer it is split up into different colours of the spectrum. Different thicknesses of oxide layer produce varying colours.

HYPOALLERGENIC
An allergy to Titanium would be highly unusual. Titanium (and Zirconium) is considered to be one of the best hypoallergenic metals around. If your ring appears to be causing irritation and the ring has been engraved, it is possible that bacteria has accumulated in the engraving and this is what could be causing the irritation. Washing the ring in normal soap and water is all that would be required to clear any possible build up and should eliminate the ring as a cause of the irritation. Making sure that the ring is dried properly after washing will keep any possible problems at bay.
ENGRAVING
Some styles include an engraving on the outside of the ring. Usually this is a date of your choice (in roman numerals) and there is even a ring with engraved runes. In either case all you ahve to do is tell us the date (or text) and we (well our Jeweller actually) will translate it into numerals or runes. Inside engraving is also available on most styles and what appears here is also your choice. There are four fonts to choose from and most dates and phrases can be included for a small extra charge of £19.95. If the phrase you want is a little long then ask us and we can always check to make sure the text will fit.
LIFETIME GUARANTEE
Our Titanium rins are made to such high quality standards that we offer a 'lifetime guarantee' that covers manufacturing and material defects, subject to fair, reasonable use and conditions.
